La cinquième génération d'encres UltraChrome HDR incorpore deux nouvelles couleurs (orange et vert) aux couleurs déjà existantes de l'UltraChrome K3 vivid Magenta. C'est donc un jeu de 11 couleurs, offrant ainsi un espace colorimétrique plus large notamment sur les tons vert au jaune et jaune au rouge. Enfin, l'ajout d'orange permet de réduire l'effet de grain sur les tons chair.
